Our Functions

The office is responsible for the recruitment of the academic and training institutions as well as the professional bodies. The office receives applications and coordinates the Sub-Committee of Senate responsible for assessing the eligibility of applying institutions. The office drafts, sanctions and monitors implementation of the partnership agreements.

It also liaises between the Ndejje University academic programmes, the University Quality Assurance Unit and the approved affiliates. In collaboration with other sections of the University, it is responsible for the registration of affiliated students and coordinates the management of examinations, graduation and certification of these students.

Management of the affiliation programme

The programme is managed by an affiliations committee which is a sub-committee of the University senate chaired by the Academic Registrar’s Office and includes the Chairperson for Deans’ Forum among others. The programme is guided by an Affiliations Policy.
