First Lady to officiate at 18th Graduation Ceremony

Uganda’s First Lady and Minister of Education, Sports and Technology, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni will be the chief guest at the 18th Ndejje University Graduation ceremony due October 14, 2016 at Luwero-based Main Campus ground.

18th Graduation 2016Over 2800 students are scheduled to graduate with degrees and diplomas in various fields with the day’s theme calling for “Enhancing Quality Assurance in a changing Higher Education Platform”.

Preceding the main graduation ceremony another set of 250 students will also be passed out with certificates attained in various courses during the 2nd Ndejje University Affiliated Graduation ceremony due October 7, 2016 at Kampala Campus.

This year’s number of graduates for certificate courses has doubled compared to the previous years 143 students who were awarded certificates in different disciplines by Ndejje University and its affiliated institutions.

Students will be awarded certificates in courses such as Advanced Certificate in Business Administration, Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Certificate in Library and Information Science, and Certificate in Guidance and Counselling.

The Ministry of Education and Sports Commissioner Teacher Education, Dr. Jane Egau will officiate at the awards ceremony.

In another development, KCCA Executive Director, Mrs. Jennifer Musisi is scheduled to present a keynote address to the graduands on the theme: “Integrity, Your Right, Your Responsibility,” during the 3rd commencement lecture on September 30, 2016 at MTN Arena, Lugogo, Kampala.

Chief Coordinator of Operations Wealth Creation, Maj. General J.F. Oketa will also make presentation on behalf of the Ndejje University student alumni.
