Research Competition

The staff of a university is the engine that drives the mission and vision of that university. It is therefore appropriate to empower the staff to do research and disseminate the findings. Research is creation of knowledge which contributes to national development.

The Ndejje University Staff on annual basis are engaged in a competition as a university initiative in NDU’s efforts and commitment to create a culture of research, dissemination including publication, of evidence-based information at the University.

Funded by Ndejje University, proposals are submitted in response to a call by the research directorate. A panel comprised of internal and external researchers vets the competitors. The successful one is availed funds to conduct his /her research. The process is climaxed by a public presentation of findings; the work is critiqued by the discussant/s and the audience. The research work is then published in any of the selected journals.
