Mascot

The theme of the games shall be; “Strengthening the Integration of Eastern Africa Higher Education through University Sports”.

1. The games’ slogan will be “Be exceptional” and the mascot shall be a “Bee”. These were chosen in line with the objectives. The justifying reasons were as shown below:
2. The Bee represents working hard and smart thus excellence.
3. The Bee represents unity, respect for diversity, being seasonal and thus producing the very best products sought out by many.
